[/caption]Just in time for the July 4th weekend, Naperville’s Ribfest 2010, near the outskirts of Chicago, promises a great time for barbeque ribs lovers, and anyone looking to get out and enjoy the nice summer weather with their community.
This festival in Naperville, Illinois starts today, and will be going through the 4th so that visitors have more than enough chances to get their fill of some delicious, homecooked ribs.
Ribfest has something that will get anyone in the mood to celebrate this great weekend.
The four days of non-stop fun is expected to attract thousands of visitors, from local Chicagoans to tourists from around the country that have heard about the reputation of this amazing celebration.
Families with children will enjoy the unlimited carnival rides at just $10 per person. Moms and Dads will also love the fact that they can feed everyone for the night on some of the awesome vendor food that is going to be cooked up right on the fairgrounds.
Young adults and parents that want to leave their kids at home with the babysitter can have a great time listening to live music on one of the 2 stages that will be featuring local and national performers.
The Charlie Daniels Band is really getting the celebration started tonight; they are scheduled to go on at 8:30 on the Miller Lite South Stage. The Los Lonely Boys and LeAnn Rimes are two other chart-topping performers scheduled to appear at the festival.
If you are anywhere in the area, you should really consider making an appearance at Naperville’s Knoch Park. This summer festival promises to carry on in its previous tradition of celebration the July 4th weekend in true American style.
At the very least, their fireworks shows are ones to be remembered, and will be enjoyed by the thousands of visitors making it out to the festival.
