[/caption]Singer Enrique Iglesias has probably spoken too soon when he launched the challenge of skiing naked if Spain won the World Cup. He was far from imagining that his country would become the world champion and now the singer is confronted to the challenge. And even if the desire to water-ski naked does not discourage him, he might have to face another problem in order to go through with the bet- the police.
The day he launched the challenge of making water skiing naked, Enrique Iglesias thought surely that Spain would not be the world champion. And yet last July 11, the Spaniards won the Soccer World Cup for the first time in their history. However he will have to face another problem in order to go through with the bet. Police in Miami will by every means deter the singer to accomplish this feat. Indeed, a police representative told the website TMZ: “We enforce all laws here, regardless of what your status is in the Miami community.”
Determined to meet the challenge anyway, Enrique Iglesias said he would keep his word, "I'm waiting for a very, very, very dark night and ... yep, a bet's a bet," he conceded. "At some point, I will have to do it." However he knows well the risk that he will be taking for doing this act. Again speaking to the TMZ website he said: "Technically, it is indecent exposure, so I guess you can get arrested for it.” Among other conditions that were required for the bet was that Iglesias should be a little drunk and that it should be done late at night.
How far will Enrique Iglesias go will depend on whether he will prefer to keep his word and defy the police or whether submit to the authorities. We will know in the coming days.
