Fashion, pop, and cultural icon Lady Gaga stuns audiences no matter where she goes. Performing live this morning for the Today Show was no exception. The singing sensation was invited to perform at the Rockefeller Plaza as the July 9th Today Show’s talent portion.
Even with the pouring rain, Lady Gaga thrilled the crowd in attendance, which was close to 20,000 people, according to estimates by Today Show officials. The “little monsters” as Lady Gaga affectionately calls her fans, camped out the night before to ensure that they would get to see their idol performing live.
Lady Gaga took to the stage in one of her typically extravagant costume-like outfits to perform “Someone to Watch Over me”, and her latest single “You and I”.
After a commercial break and a quick change into another stunning outfit, the pop singer performed one of her most recent hits “Alejandro” and finished off her Today Show performance with “Teeth”.
Neither the cultural icon, Lady Gaga, nor her little monsters, seemed to mind the fact that it was pouring down rain during her entire performance. In true professional style, the singer performed at her best, awing the crowd with her piano playing and vocal talents.
For anyone who missed the spectacular performance, there are plenty of videos available online recapping Lady Gaga’s visit to the Today Show.
