[/caption]The Arts, Beats & Eats festival 2010 starts at 11:00 AM in downtown Royal Oak, Michigan. Until last year the Arts, Beats & Eats festival was held in Poniac, Mi and has been moved to downtown Royal Oak this year. The life festival is offering a unique selection of artists, musicians and vendors that deliver fun and entertainment for the greater Detroit area.
Admission is free on Friday, September 3 until 5 p.m. For Friday evening and the following days the admission is only $3 per person. The proceeds of the admission fees will be used to support the community and the festival. After subtracting the gating costs, 25% of the monies go to the Arts Advocacy, 25% go to the city of Royal Oaks to help put the festival there and the remaining 50% will be disbursed to 13 local charities. The festival is sponsored by Ford and by Citizens Bank and was first held 12 years ago.
