Obama in my opinion is the best president the U.S.A has seen. He is smart, caring, kind, and he knows what's important in life. He has done so many things while he has been president and he has achieved such a strong fan-base. Of course there are those few people that don't like him for some reason or or other. But in my opinion I don't see how someone could not like this man. He is a pure genius.
Today Obama held on of the most amazing speeches I have ever personally read or heard. It was the second annual Back-To-School speech and it was held in Philadelphia.
This speech really touched me, since it gave me such comfort and hope in this nation once again. Obama stressed how important it is for the youth of today to continue on with their education and to excel in their education. He stressed that it is our responsibility to make sure we do well in life and that we do well in our education.
I feel that when Obama addresses the youth of the nation, it really communicates to them and they can accept it when it comes from him. It is very different when the President of the United States tells you he wants you to do well, than when your own mother or father tell you they want you to do well.
I think Obama created a huge impact with his speech today, at least it gave me a sort of wake-up call, so I am sure it woke up some other kids too.
Below is an excerpt of his speech today. This excerpt is something that we all need to understand and do.

"But I came to Masterman to tell all of you what I think you're hearing from your principal and your superintendent, and from your parents and your teachers: Nobody gets to write your destiny but you. Your future is in your hands. Your life is what you make of it. And nothing -- absolutely nothing -- is beyond your reach, so long as you're willing to dream big, so long as you're willing to work hard. So long as you're willing to stay focused on your education, there is not a single thing that any of you cannot accomplish, not a single thing. I believe that.
And that last part is absolutely essential, that part about really working hard in school, because an education has never been more important than it is today. I'm sure there are going to be times in the months ahead when you're staying up late doing your homework or cramming for a test, or you're dragging yourself out of bed on a rainy morning and you're thinking, oh, boy, I wish maybe it was a snow day. (Laughter.)
But let me tell you, what you're doing is worth it. There is nothing more important than what you're doing right now. Nothing is going to have as great an impact on your success in life as your education, how you're doing in school." Obama
If you haven't read or seen the full speech today, I suggest you do. It will surely change your viewpoint on life and especially on the importance of education.
