[/caption]Cell Seeker - Complete Edition is a BlackBerry application that allows you to easily locate your lost or stolen phone. That's not the only thing it does, there are many other features that help you locate/keep track of your phone.
You can set Cell Seeker to run in the background, it won't make any sound or show any message saying that it's on. This means that if you phone was stolen, the person stealing it won't even know that you are tracking it. On the other hand, you can also set it to display a message on the screen of you phone saying that it was lost and to "please call 555-555-5555" this enables you to let the person who found your phone know how they can contact you.
When you activate Cell Seeker, you can receive an email or SMS message to an alternate phone that gives you the GPS coordinates of you phone. It also gives you a link to a map service such as Google or Bing that shows you exactly where it is.
Another great thing about Cell Seeker is the ability to play a sound even when your phone is on vibrate. This is very, very useful to many cell phone owners. The following scenario often happens: "I lost my phone!" - "Oh, hold on, I'll call it," - "It's on vibrate," - "Everybody QUIET," and you still don't find it. Well, with Cell Seeker, it's now finally possible to find your phone, even if it is on vibrate. You can activate Cell Seeker to make it flash its lights and make pre-configured noise at max volume.
There are some other features including a "Security Zone Monitor." This allows you to continuously monitor the cell phone's location. If the cell phone leaves a configured radius from its "home" location, an email and/or SMS message will be sent with the current location. When it returns to its home location, you will receive another message.

Remote wipe, GPS timeout settings to improve location accuracy, option to define activation text, integrated help. There are many other features included in this extremely helpful app, however, the most important ones have been discussed.

All in all, Cell Seeker is a great app, and an invaluable tool to all BlackBerry owners out there. It's very easy to lose track of a phone, however, it can be a real hassle finding it again. Call Seeker allows you to find you phone quickly and easily. This allows you to sleep soundly, knowing that your phone is safe because, after all, a new BlackBerry isn't cheap.
