Nowadays salads have become very common among women and men. They are common foods that women order on a date in order to not look fat or to look as if they only eat a little.

It is a little silly, I think, for women to only eat a salad so that they don't look like a pig or whatever they think they will look like if they actually eat a full meal in front of a man.

I on the other hand eat salads all the time since they are my favorite thing to eat. I make all different kinds of salads. Green salads, fruit salads, carrot salads, just vegetable salads, spinach salads and tons more. I am completely obsessed with salads.

It is a great obsession to have, since salads are one of those foods that are very healthy for you and give your body lots of nutrients.

The key in making a healthy and nutritious salad is first making sure the dressing you use isn't filled with sugar and other unhealthy substances. The best dressings are those made with simply, oil, vinegar and spices. If you don't like vinegar you can substitute it with lemon or lime juice.

Another thing to keep in mind, you don't have to have lettuce in your salad. You can simply cut up tomatoes, carrots, bell peppers, mushrooms and any other vegetable you like, mix them all together with your dressing and there you have a wonderful salad that you can enjoy.

Salads are great meal additions, as well as great snacks. You can also make a big salad and have it be your meal.

Whatever you choose to do with your salad just make sure that you actually enjoy eating it and aren't just eating it because you have to. That takes away the fun.
