Green tea has become a drink that many people nowadays drink. Whether they drink it for weight loss reasons or just pure health benefits it has become more and more popular over the years.

Green tea is said by some to increase the chance of losing weight. Now, this may or may not be true. It is true that if you eat a healthy diet and you add green tea to your daily routine, that you could lose weight. Whether the green tea made you lose the weight or not is hard to prove.

There is on the other hand nothing wrong with drinking green tea on a regular basis. It has several health benefits and it is very good for one's digestion. The thing that would be wrong to do would be to become overly obsessed with green tea and drink it constantly. Nothing is really good for the body in excess, other than water.

Obviously people who drink unsweetened green tea instead of soda, or some other sweetened beverage have a better chance of losing extra pounds than someone who drinks a lot of sugary beverages.

Yes, you should drink tea if you want to and you like the taste of it. But if you only drink it for weight loss and you are forcing yourself to drink it, well simply stop drinking it.

I drink green tea since I like how it tastes and I actually see it help my digestion, if that is the case with you, well then drink up.
