Wal-Mart Brings out Its Own Wireless Service Plan

We all know Wal-Mart for being that live-saving store when you need something for a low price or you need something desperately and it is the middle of the night. Either way, Wal-Mart is very well known for its amazingly low prices.

Wal-Mart basically sells everything a person needs, from food, cleaning supplies, hygiene products, clothes, makeup, school supplies, to household wares. They even sell electronics and cell phones. The only thing they haven't sold up to this point was a wireless service plan.

Well leave it up to Wal-Mart and there you go, they now have their very own wireless service plan, for a very low amount per month. Obviously Wal-Mart doesn't have their own cell towers now. They are going to be running their service off of T-mobile's network.

The Wal-Mart Family Mobile plan doesn't require a contract agreement and you don't have to prepay either. It includes unlimited text messaging, but you will have to pay extra for data usage. The plan is only $45 per month.

Obviously for people who are big on data plans and packages it would be a lot more. But this plan is mainly for calling and texting.

I think its great that Wal-Mart is doing this, since it makes it really affordable for people with a low income to get a good rate on a cell phone service.

The next time you want a cell phone plan that doesn't make you sign a two year contract and a plan that is very affordable, stop by your local Wal-Mart.
