Katherine Schwarzenegger Authors Her First Book

Katherine Schwarzenegger, the daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver has written her first book. It's titled "Rock What You've Got: Secrets to Loving Your Inner and Outer Beauty." It will be hitting bookstores next week.

Katherine is one of those girls who has very big shoes to fill when it comes to her family and her parent's accomplishments. Her father is a legendary actor, former Mr. Universe/Mr. Olympia, and the current Governor of California. Her mother is an award-winning journalist who has authored six best selling books.

Katherine Schwarzenegger is currently only 20 years old. She has not let her young age get in the way of her writing her first hardback.

The book's goal is aimed at helping girls gain confidence in their bodies and themselves. Katherine says that part of the motivation for the book was overhearing her preteen cousins talking about their desires to be thin and "sexy." She also had to be "perfect" for the public as a teen, so she has an understanding of how it can be for a girl to want to be perfect, and beautiful.

The book will be Katherine Schwarzenegger's first. She is a junior at the USC Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism. She has definitely been following in the footsteps of her parents, especially her mother's.

Schwarzenegger was born on December 13, 1989 in Los Angeles, California. She has one sister, Christina, and two brothers Patrick and Christopher. She is definitely showing her family that she can stand up for herself, and that she doesn't need to have the backing that she does, she can make her own future from her own talent.
