Very recently, the nation's attention was drawn to Glenn Beck's rally in Washington, the "Restoring Honor" rally. Now, a majority of the Internet population wants Stephen Colbert to host his very own rally, the Stephen Colbert "Restoring Truthiness" Rally.

Stephen Colbert is the host of the Emmy winning Colbert Report. It's idolized by millions of Americans who are tired of the way news is broadcast, as well as the politics in this country.

From the above, the ColbertRally.com website emerged. It's purpose is to try to spread the idea of the Restoring Truthiness rally.

The website tells visitors that at 12:00 PM EST on Tuesday, September 7th 2010, they should tweet, "Restoring Truthiness at http://www.colbertrally.com" and it also tells users to go to Google and repeatedly search for "Restoring Truthiness and not to stop, then it tells you to do the same thing on Yahoo. The goal is to get "Restoring Truthiness" to trend on Yahoo, Google and Twitter in order to gain the attention of Stephen Colbert, and to get him to hold this rally.

Here is what ColbertRally.com says:

"America, we are at a crossroad. Truthiness in this nation is at an all-time low since the inception of the concept was founded by the great American, Stephen Colbert. In its rich history over the past five years, Truthiness has become synonymous with American values such as freedom, honor, and Taco Bell. Recently our nation has suffered a truthiness drain. In fact, untruthiness is as common as measles vaccinations that cause cancer. We as a nation have stopped relying on our emotions and gut. We need to get back to what makes this nation great. Act on impulse not fact. Stop wasting time analyzing and just take what people say on face value. Why think when someone else can think for you. It’s superficial. It’s quick. It’s American. Restore Truthiness now!"
