Hurricane Julia has become a category 4 hurricane, with winds of up to 135 miles per hour. Julia is now a pretty large hurricane, hurricane force winds extend outward up to 35 miles out from the center, while tropical storm force winds extend outward up to 115 miles from the center.

Julia is expected to retain its strength and intensity through the day, then it's forecast that the storm will storm will gradually weaken as it heads northwest at 15 miles per hour.

Hurricane Igor is also still a category 4 hurricane. Igor also has winds of up to 135 miles per hour. Hurricane force winds extend outward up to 45 miles from the center, while tropical storm force winds extend outward as much as 225 miles from Igor's center. This makes Igor a really big and powerful hurricane. It's a good thing that the storm is forecast to stay away from any land.

Igor is currently moving towards the west-northwest at about 8 miles per hour. This motion is expected to continue with a slight increase in forward speed, this may be accompanied by a slight turn towards the northwest.

Tropical Storm Karl is currently over the Yucatan Peninsula, it's expected that the storm will be on the other side by tomorrow morning.

Karl currently has winds of 60 miles per hour. It's not expected that the storm will strengthen again until its back over the water. It's forecast to weaken a little bit as it passes over the peninsula.

Tropical Storm Karl is expected to bring some pretty heavy rainfall over the Yucatan Peninsula, Belize, and northern Guatemala. Besides that, there will only be some strong winds and a storm surge. Flooding is possible along the coast. It's not expected, however, that Karl will do any major damage.
