A lot of people love to read and a lot of people don't. There are readers and then there are the non-readers. I am definitely a non-reader type of girl. But there are some books that I have read, where I definitely became a reader and those books caused such a huge impression on me. One of those books is called To Kill a Mockingbird, by Harper Lee.

To Kill a Mockingbird is one of the most touching and moving stories you will ever read. It is such a beautiful story and written with so much love. It is a book that shows you there really is goodness in the world and that people with pure hearts do exist.

To Kill a Mockingbird sheds a whole new light on segregation and the thought of whites and blacks not being able to associate with one another freely. Atticus is chosen to defend him in court. His son Jem and his daughter Scout are made fun of in school by the other kids since their father is defending a black man. Scout and Jem stand up for their father and try to help him.

I am not going to tell you what happens in the book, since you have to read it and find out. It is truly such a touching story. Even if you aren't a reader, anyone and everyone has to read this book.
