The Costco Store hours do not answer the question "is Costco open on labor day?".

The regular store hours for Costco are:

Monday to Friday: 11:00am - 8:30pm
Sat: 9:30am - 6:00pm
Sun: 10:00am - 6:00pm

If you want to shop at Costco during Labor Day, you can only do so online at www.costco.com. They even have many special deals for Labor Day.

During every major holiday people are searching for Costco store hours. The Costco web site had so many visitors earlier today that it was no longer accessible. Why Costco is closed during Holidays is not understandable. If I would run that company, I would offer my employees double pay or the day off. I bet that enough staff would decide to work during a Holiday and pocket double the pay. Everybody, including the customers would be happy.
