[/caption]This Labor Day weekend there were a lot of movies one could go and see. But the movie that made the most in the box office this weekend was a movie by George Clooney, The American.
George Clooney, who is 49 years old is loved and adored by woman young and old. He just has some sort of charm that no woman around can deny. His looks definitely play a big part of it, but it is also his personality.
The American is a movie about a middle-aged gunsmith who has his cover blown. He then finds a new location to go to which ends up being an ancient Italian village. He is there to undertake one last project before he retires.
George Clooney does a really good job in this film and really portrays his character well. Clooney is an award winning actor and it definitely shows in this movie.
The American is projected to make $20 million by the end of this weekend.

One of the reasons The American is being seen so much this weekend is due to the fact that a couple on a date would rather see this movie than some of the others that came out this weekend such as, Going the Distance or Machete.
Also one of the reasons that The American is making such good money is since George Clooney is in it. People want to see George Clooney. Men and women alike love watching this man on screen.
Whenever a new movie with Clooney comes out, you can definitely expect it to make money since Clooney is in it.
