TMZ is reporting that Randy Jackson, brother of the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, wants to throw a party at the King of Pop’s grave site. The problem is that many of the celebrities who are buried in that area families have not green lighted the party… probably thinking that their loved one graves sites would be desecrated by party revelers of Michael Jackson.
No one has addressed how tacky this party at the King of Pop grave site may or may not be. One must wonder if brother Randy took the pulse of Michael Jackson’s fans to see if they would be willing to moon-walk on and around his resting place. As of now, the party idea must just floated by Randy… no logistics for a Party at Michael’s grave have apparently been worked out.

Why, oh why does everyone continue to take pot shots at Michael, even now. All Randy is attempting to do is allow those, of us, who love MJ to have an opportunity to pay their respects. Randy never made any promises and he never said anything about having a party.
ردحذفWhat is wrong with you people? I seriously doubt if Michael's fans would want to desecrate the burial sites of other celebrites. Who wants to visit them anyway. It's about Michael, not the rest of them. Still jealous, I see. And they don't have to let all the fans go in at one time. There is always more than one way to do anything.
TMZ,Is this the best headliner? You could have found a better title. You all have no respect at all. This is so misleading. Why didn't you use what Randy said, instead you made-up a title of your own. First of all he never said he was gonna talk to the peoples about getting them(fans)into to visit Michaels tomb to throw a party. But like Michael, aways said (TRUTH) & GOOD_NEWS don't sell. You all are a bunch idiots...
ردحذفWhat is wrong with you people? What would make you believe such rubbish. It is amazing how someone's kind thoughtful gesture is always twisted. When will people try investigating the facts for themselves instead of letting sites such as TMZ do the work for them. Just because TMZ is lead by a lawyer doesn't mean jack! All it does is make me wonder why a lawyer would waste his time with mess like this. You people need to get your facts straigt. Get off your lazy butts and find out the truth for yourself. This man dealt with all this foolishness while he was alive. Shouldn't try to a least be truthful with your reporting now that he is dead?
ردحذفTMZ, do you remember all the worries about Michael's Memorial Service too? And weren't the fans quiet, somber, respectful and loving toward Michael because that is what the situation called for??? So why are you twisting this story . . . oh wait, it sells, right? As Michael has already said: "Cos your cameras can’t control, The minds of those who know, That you’ll even sell your soul, Just to get your story sold" Yeah, we got your number . . . just wondering when you're gonna figure that out.
ردحذفI'm only surprised that Randy hasn’t yet suggested that hot dogs, peanuts, soda & tee shirts be sold at the grave site.
ردحذفThe cemetery is noted for protecting the sanctity & peace of those buried there, which is presumably part of why the jacksons chose it for Michael. If it were thrown open to the general public, there would almost surely be litter, damage & very likely, theft from souvenir hunters--people stepping all over places where they shouldn't, possibly even breaking off pieces of grave markers--that sort of thing. This is especially true because many famous people are buried there.
Hi, I am from Hong Kong. Pls do not always debase Michael's fans. Most of us are mature and rational. What we want is that we just want to say goodbye in person to our beloved King Of Pop.
ردحذفEven the fans would possibly take a moonwalk around his resting place that does not mean to desecrate the graves sites. This is just one of the ways to memorize such great person. I don't think that the celebrities who are buried in that area would mind; as all they are angels, whom would not be as narrow-minded as the people with prejudice.
Just like our greatest Hong Kong Kungfu movie star, Bruce Lee, he is buried in one of the grave sites in Seatle. There are always lot of people going to visit him, sometimes, they will do some kungfu art in front of his graveyard. It means a respect, not desecration. Nobody has ever complained, why Michael Jackson!!!!
Dear Shadowmia:
ردحذفThought you may need some history on Forest Lawn Cemetery. It was ceated for showcase; a place to attract millions of people. And please if you are truly concerned about Michael and claim to love him don't demean his family members. Randy is is baby brother, of whom MJ dearly loved. How can you care who visits MJ's resting place and not care about his sibling. How do you think Randy would feel about you accusing him of wanting to profit from the fans visiting his brother's resting site. Have you no Shame?
Do your history first. People have been frequented cemeteries before your time. They visit them to show respect. My husband rests in a very nice cemetery and the care us perpetual; if someone drops something,so what, the stafff will pick it up. Thanks be to God they have a job and a well paid one at that. It is about time some of the people who worked and were suppose to be taking care of MJ earned their pay.

Unlike any other cemetery, Forest Lawn attracts over a million visitors per year. Over 60,000 people have actually been married there (including Ronald Reagan, who tied the knot with Jane Wyman at the "Wee Kirk 'o the Heather" chapel back in 1940). Regis Philbin was also married at Forest Lawn.
Why? Well, Forest Lawn isn't your ordinary, run-of-the-mill cemetery. Far more than just a memorial park, it's also a museum, an art gallery, an architectural showcase, a Hollywood tourist trap, and a religious retreat. Even Pope John Paul II stopped here, during his visit to Los Angeles.
Where else can you see the final resting places of multiple movie stars, visit a replica of Rudyard Kipling's church, watch white swans glide across a lake, see a mosaic of "The Signing of the Declaration of Independence," view the world's largest religious painting in a state-of-the-art theater, and discover replicas of all of Michelangelo's major works in one place?
Forest Lawn was born in 1917 when Dr. Hubert Eaton, a firm believer in a joyous life after death, became convinced that most current cemeteries were "unsightly, depressing stoneyards," and pledged to create one that would reflect his optimistic beliefs, a cemetery that would be as unlike other cemeteries "as sunlight is unlike darkness, as eternal life is unlike death." Forest Lawn was designed to captivate visitors, and it does so quite well.

I would give anything to be able to pay my respect. This would be the best thing for the fans to be able to pay there respect. But I beleive they should have bury Michael at Neverland so that this kind of stuff wouldn't happen. I don't believe that anyone is going to desecrate anyones grave while they are there. They are there for Michael as everyone else has stated. Maybe the Jackson should reconsider and move Michael to Neverland so that we can pay our respects. Love you Miss you But Never For Gotten Rest In Peace Michael We Will See You Again Myra
ردحذفUh, aren't we celebrating all year long Elvis's 75th birthday at Graceland?
ردحذفDon't we all every year get reminded of Elvis' death in August (I know this and I'm not a fan) with hundreds if not thousands of people standing near Elvis' grave and at night holding up candles?
I saw this on Larry King once too. They broadcast the thing on his show.
So why the snarky remark about MJ's grave?
No party. He wanted fans to be able to visit.
