Gary Coleman was hospitalized earlier this week and is now reportedly on life support with a brain hemorrhage. According to reports, he was checked into the local hospital after falling in his Utah home and suffering a head injury. He remains on life support in critical condition.
Gary Coleman, a former child star best known for his role in the American sitcom “Diff’rent Strokes”, has appeared in a number of television shows and movies since his career first began in the 1970s. Some of his more recent movies include “Midgets Vs. Mascots”, “An American Carol” and “A Christmas Too Many”.
He stands only at 4’8”; his stunted height was caused by congenital kidney disease, which he has suffered from all his life. He has undergone two kidney transplants early on, but he is one actor who didn’t allow his medical condition to impede in his acting career, instead using it to his advantage, playing unique rolls that no one else would be able to pull off.
He was admitted to the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Utah after falling and hitting his head on Wednesday. The next day, he was announced to be in critical condition and is now unconscious and on life support after suffering a brain hemorrhage.
