I supposed being an ex wife of a British prince is no longer a money-making hookup. I say this because Sarah Ferguson (Duchess of York) was caught trying to sell access to Prince Andrew, her ex husband. Sarah did what lobbyists do - that is promising access to people of influence, in this case, Prince Andrew.

Sarah has emphasized that Prince Andrew had no idea that she would have been paid $500,000.00 - but the question that should be asked and investigated is was this the first time that this peddling of influence had happened; and  how did those who carried out the sting operation knew that the Duchess would be susceptible to doing this? One must also ask if it is greed on the part of Sarah why she was involved in this peddling for money scheme or is that she is really financially hurting?

Where did all the money go that Sarah made by her many best selling books and being a spoke-person for Weight Watchers? What of the British Pounds I am supposing that she received for her royally-bred children for their maintenance? I am also certain that she received some money from Andrew for the divorce. Perhaps, like many of us, Sarah has a difficult time saving her pennies and this could account for her getting into the money making scheme.

It is said that Sarah has a frosty relationship with her former mother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth; no doubt that Sarah’s latest news-worthy contribution will not thaw the relationship with the Queen… who is said to be the richest woman in the world. Sometimes, us “commoners,” need to be reminded that even those considered to be Royalty make mistakes and have some of the same frailties like the rest of us. Stiff upper lip Sarah, stiff upper lip!

  1. It's clear to this reader that this editorialized coverage of a felony condones such blatant misbehavior;

    "Royalty make mistakes and have some of the same frailties like the rest of us."

    The only thing more disgusting that the ethical misconduct in this case may well be the manner in which this crime was covered by this editor.
