Judge Issues A Bench Warrant For Lindsay Lohan's Arrest

The troubles only seem to be multiplying for troubled starlet, Lindsay Lohan; apparently, Lindsay had a mandatory court date… stemming from her plea bargain for a vehicular accident, which injured two men. This accident is suspected to have been caused, in part, on Lohan’s drinking.

Lindsay is supposedly stuck in France over some flap with her passport preventing her from making the mandatory court date. The judge, apparently, fed up with the starlet, issued a bench warrant and went on to rule that when she returns that Lindsay must also wear a computer device so that the court can monitor her on her promise of sobriety.

Lindsay’s recent behavior did not help matters, but compounded the situation when she is always being captured exiting some swanky party… obviously looking intoxicated or high on drugs. The judge’s order also compelled Lindsay to be subjected to random tests to substantiate whether she is being truthful about her promised sobriety.

Gone are the days when stars like Lohan could disregard court orders; this is no longer so because of the 24 hour news circle and the advent of TMZ and the like, monitoring the stars almost every movement. It just might be this intrusiveness that may save Lindsay Lohan’s life.
