2010 CMA Awards

The Emmy Awards are now done and over with and the next exciting awards for all you country music lovers are the CMA awards. Country Music Awards of 2010. The nominees for this awards are out and published, but the winners aren't chosen until November 10, 2010.

On November 10th the CMAs will be live in Nashville and they will air on ABC. The CMAs will air for three hours.

This year marks the 44th annual CMA awards and how they work are the nominees are chosen, then in September the final nominees are chosen. Choosing the final nominees is hard work and a lot of voting goes on during that time. The voting goes on until November 2nd. November 10th the winners are announced.

I am going to list some of this year's nominees, these are not the final nominees.

The weird thing is that Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood are not nominated for anything. Taylor Swift has had some great songs this year as well as Carrie Underwood.

The CMAs started in 1967 and have gone on for 44 years. That is quite an achievement. I bet you all are dying to find out who the winners will be this year, just a little bit longer and we will find out. Until then, keep your fingers crossed for your personal favorites.
