We have reported earlier about the meteor shower in August 2010.

So, basically you go out, find a nice dark spot and patiently wait until one of these meteors passes your field of vision. It works especially well if you ar far away from distracting light sources, especially cities and such.

Sometimes finding a dark spot is easier said than done. You either have to drive 2 hours to get out of the city or if that's not the problem, you might have just clouds all over.

But help is here. You can just sit back and relax in front of your computer and watch the meteor shower live on your screen.

The Perseids begin to rise in early August and meteor showers have their peak activity between August 12 and August 13, 2010. There are about 50 meteors per hour to be expected. The comet of origin of the Perseids meteor is 109P/Swift-Tuttle and they radiate from the constellation Perseus.
