Drizzy Drake and Nicki Minaj Announce Marriage on Twitter

It appears that two members of the Young Money family just got a lot closer. On Friday, August 27, Nicki Minaj and Drake seemingly announced on their Twitter accounts that they are married.

They tweeted the following sequence of tweets:

U scurred? @drakkardnoir u ready to make the announcement or wha?

Drizzy Drake:
@nickiminaj Baby I am never scared. PROUD is more the word I would use.

Drizzy Drake:
Please refer to @nickiminaj as Mrs. Aubrey Drake Graham and dont stare at her too long. She's finally mine. :)

Nicki Minaj:

So, to all appearances, they're happily married!

Before, hip-hop fans and people in the industry have speculated about Drake and Minaj's relationship. Buzz spiked when fans heard an eyebrow-raising line in Drake's “Miss Me” single.

They suspected something was up. Then Drake came out and said, “

Hip-hop heads have speculated about Drake and Minaj's relationship before, and buzz spiked when fans heard a very eyebrow-raising line on Drizzy's "Miss Me" single.

"I love Nicki Minaj/ I told her I'd admit it/ I hope one day we get married just to say we f---ing did it/ And girl, I'm f---ing serious/ I'm with it if you with it/ 'Cause your verses turn me on, and your pants are mighty fitted," the hip-hop star spits in his song.

Earlier in this year, Drake told DJ Envy on MTV2's “Sucker Free Countdown” that he really did have genuine feelings for Minaj."I've always really, actually, really had a crush on her, always really loved her, and she's always just looked at me as, like, her little brother," Drake supposedly said.

Minaj, however, did not believe that Drake really had feelings for her. She though that he was just her partner-in-rhyme. “Drake does not have a crush on me, Drake knows how to get you guy's attention,” she told Envy when asked about it.

But now, they're happily married. I guess that she somehow did find out that he was serious, and then things probably started to go in the direction that Drake wanted — she probably wanted them to go there too.
