Apple has finally reduced the estimated shipping time for all six of its iPad models (Wi-Fi 16GB, 32GB and 64GB, and Wi-Fi + 3G 16GB, 32GB and 64GB). The estimated shipping time is now "within 24hrs" on the Apple online store.

This is great news for all the people who have been waiting for their iPads to arrive. If you buy an iPad now, you're sure to receive it much faster than original buyers. Previously, Apple promised that iPads would ship within three to five business days. A few weeks before that the Apple Store cautioned would-be buyers that shipments would take up to seven to ten business days.

All this was the cause of the enormous demand of for Apple's new product. It appears that production hass finally caught up with the demand for the iPad.

The demand was very "surprisingly strong" when the iPad was first released in the United States. Sales hit the 1 million mark in 28 days, the 2 million mark within 2 months of the release and the 3 million mark by the end of the first month.

Apple had to postpone the international launch of the iPad by one month, until the end of May, due to the demand in the United States alone. This kind of demand for a new product has never been seen before, not even with the release of the first iPhone. Stores were sold out within hours of opening their doors.

The supply rate is now obviously meeting the demand for the device, and it will probably stay that way until a new version of the device is released.

It's up to Apple to now make a new device that will surpass even the iPad's enormous demand, and maybe they will. Maybe there will be a new device that is even cooler than anything that we have ever seen before.
