[/caption]Harry Potter has become such a famous subject among us today that just mentioning the name everyone knows exactly what you are talking about. The author JK Rowling has definitely made a name for herself through the books and movies. Now that she is super wealthy she has donated some of her hard earned money to a good cause.
JK Rowling donated $15.4 million to open a multiple sclerosis research clinic. She has done this to honor her mother that died from MS in 1990. MS is a disease that has to do with the nerves.
The thing that is great about this donation is the fact that JK has so much money and instead of using it on herself she is using it to help and benefit others. Sure she uses some money for herself, but the fact that she is donating so much of it really goes to show that she has a very kind and caring heart.

There are a lot of people out there with a huge amount of money who waste it on themselves or on silly indulgences.
Then there are others out there with a lot of money and they give a lot of their money to good causes and to projects, foundations and so forth that are there to help people.
Every time I see or hear about a very wealthy person donating a huge sum of money to a good cause I feel so much better about the world. It shows that there are still people in the world who not only care about themselves but they care about helping others.
