Julia Roberts has done it again! She has starred in an amazing movie that really reaches inside of you and makes you want to find yourself. Roberts was the perfect person chosen to play the main character Liz Gilbert. She not only is a great actress, but the way she portrays the characters she plays comes across as fully real and it seems like she isn't acting but that she is that character.
Eat Pray Love is the type of movie that combines, love, passion and happiness. Its the type of movie that most women can relate to. It shows that life isn't just always a nice, relaxing journey but that bumps do come up.
Eat Pray Love is about a women, Liz Gilbert, that has lost her passion for life. She has lost her passion in her marriage and in her job. She decides she needs to get away for a while and figure things out. She leaves everything behind to go travel for a full year. First she goes to Italy for a few months and rediscovers the joy of eating, eating and eating. She gains some of her passion for life back while in Italy.
Read more about the countries she visits on the next page.
The second country she goes to is India. In India she finds her inner peace through prayer and meditation. The last place she visits is Bali. In Bali she hopes to find balance. She finds this balance that she was looking for. The way she finds it is through falling in love. She falls in love with a wonderful man that makes her feel alive again.
To summarize, this movie shows a women who has utterly lot interest in living her life and then she rediscovers the beauty of life by exploring new countries and seeing beauty. This movie shows you that sometimes we all need a break from our immediate lives and need to do some self-discovery. We all need to get out sometimes and redefine what life means to us.
I highly recommend this movie to anyone that wants to see a truly touching and beautiful movie.
