Bank of America's online banking service was down for some time today. It may still be down for some people. It appears that the website is coming back online for most people. If it is still down for you, it should be up in a little while.

The problem was most likely something to do with delayed DNS caching.

On Twitter, someone who is believed to be from Bank of America released the following statement, “We are diligently working to fix the issue and our teams are fully engaged to have the website up and running as soon as possible.” It's more than likely that that was a Bank of America employee.

That means, that if your account isn't working right now, you'll just have to wait a little while and it should be back up soon.

The website has been down for over 3 hours for some banking clients. However, most of them are now able to access the site.

As of late, there has been a lot of downtime with other banking websites. It's usually nothing serious, and the websites are back up and running pretty fast.

That means that if your online banking isn't loading, you'll just have to bear with them as they get the problem fixed.
