The Montana Attorney General Steve Bullock announced today that the state of Montana has launched its first app. In order to reach the target audience: teens that are preparing for the drivers license exam, the state pioneered by developing an iPhone app that lets consumers practice the driver's exam on their iPhone or iPad, before taking the actual test.

The MT.gov Driver Test app is free and can be downloaded from the iTunes store here. The app runs is available for the iPhone, iPad, and iTouch. The app can also be used by licensed drivers to refresh their knowledge and maybe find out about a few traffic rules and signs that have changed over the years.

“Most new drivers are tech-savvy young people, and that’s exactly who we had in mind when we developed this mobile application,” said Attorney General Bullock about the app. “This is a great example of how we’re using technology to make our roads safer.”

The questions change every time you take the practice test. It simulates the real driver's exam by giving questions and offering multiple choice answers. Customers who used the MT.gov Driver Test app, gave it very good ratings.
