JetBlue recently got some unwanted media attention through their mischievous Flight attendant Steven Slater. Now JetBlue is in the media again, but this time it was all planned: The airline offers it's All You Can Jet pass again.

For all flights between September 7 and October 6 you just pay one price: $699 if the flights are on any day or $499 for flights excluding Fridays and Sundays. The pass gives you the right to travel as much as you can for one low price.

AYCJ-7: $699* for 30 days of unlimited travel
AYCJ-5: $499* for 30 days of unlimited travel (excludes Fridays and Sundays)

JetBlue started a similar action last year. The deal then did cost $599 and sold out pretty quickly. This year they upped the price a little. If it sells out fast again, they will probably offer it next year for 800 bucks.

Anyhow, last year this deal created a lot of media buzz and actually draw other companies into it. Several Hotels jumped right in and offered special deal to cater to the continuous travelers.

September is traditionally a slow month for airlines: people just had their share of vacation and travel and the airlines usually scramble to get their seats filled.

Last year it worked out well for all that jumped in: JetBlue was happy and the travelers too.
