The Attempt To WhiteWash The Late Johnny Carson’s Legacy

It is said that many of us in the next life are going to be shocked when God revealed to us the true history of what happened in our world – I have no doubt that many of us will be worrying about other aspects of Eschatology, but I digress. Yesterday, we heard the deserved lauding and the far and wide accolades attributed to the late television personality, Johnny Carson. Mr. Carson died in 2005 and yesterday his will was finally probated as CNN reports; and we learned that he left over a $150 million to various charities.

This is quite a sum from any benefactor, including Mr. Carson, but according to Page  Six, this was a man who refused to see his only granddaughter and refused to read her letters penned from Florida… simply because she was black. Apparently, one of Mr. Carson’s sons, sired a child with an African American woman, and it is alleged that when Mr. Carson heard about the child, he treated the granddaughter and his son like pariahs – we are told by Page Six that the granddaughter was left out of the Will.

I knew about this aspect of Mr. Carson’s life and every time I saw an African American on the Carson show, I cringed. I watched him ‘yakking’ it up with Bill Cosby and the late Richard Pryor and I realized what an actor this charlatan was. There are many of us who believe that there is no redemption from the grave and no amount of money bequeathed to charities, at the expense of his granddaughter, can whitewash (pun intended) Mr. Carson’s legacy. You will not hear this from Liberal Hollywood because of the power that this man still wields from the grave, but this blogger is not beholden to those denizens, who in life operate with sleight of hand and apparently from the grave too.

There are those who cried racism too much when it is not warranted and it has become like the story of the boy who cried wolf. But with that said, race is still the cancer, which works corruption of blood even on those like the late Mr. Carson who reside in liberal Hollywood. You will not hear them call a black man the "n" word, but there are times when God allows them to be exposed or allow people like me to shed light on their hypocrisy. Yes, I know that many whites elected President Obama, but this is not the only barometer for measuring race relations.
