[/caption]As the The Republic reported, Rudy Giuliani's daughter was arrested on charges of petty larceny, after she was caught on video stuffing cosmetics into her pocket in a New York City cosmetics store.
Paul Browne from the New York Police department said that Caroline Giuliani, was caught Wednesday at a Sephora store in Manhattan. She is 20 years old and a Harvard University student. Browne said that the police arrested her on a misdemeanor charge of petty larceny.
There was apparently no comment from her father on the situation.
Rudolph William Louis "Rudy" Giuliani, served as the Mayor of New York City from 1994 to 2001. He became famous for getting rid of the crime scene in Manhattan and making the city a safe place to live.
His daughter successfully got some media attention in 2007 when she openly supported Barack Obama, while her father was trying to get the Republican presidential nomination. Rudy Giuliani lost to U.S. Senator John McCain, who then lost to Barrack Obama.
That Caroline Giuliani, the daughter of the Ex-NYC Mayor, was now arrested for shoplifting sounds kind of funny. But at least it shows that "shit happens" and as the Germans say, "Things like that happen in the best families".
