Evernote is, in my opinion, the greatest note keeping software ever... So, I have expect nothing less in the Android version. Let me tell you, my expectations were met and surpassed. The app is designed with the idea of simplicity in mind. The main purpose of the app is to make it easy for you to record your ideas in any form, be it a photo, an uploaded image, a text note or an audio note.
The "boys at Evernote" did an excellent job with this app. Evernote for Android allows you to log, index and search for all your information in one place. This app also offers synchronization between your Android device and the web. This enables you to have access to all your information wherever you are.
One of the great things about this app is that it recognizes text within images. This means that if you take a photo of a note the app indexes the text within that note and allows you to find it through the search function. This is a great help if you are in a hurry to copy something to your phone but you don't have enough time to write it down. You can just have the app do it all for you!
Evernote for Android is very easy to use. Anyone can understand what to do with it. If you want to keep track of your pictures, ideas or any other important information you come across through your busy life you should download this app. After all, what do you have to lose? It's free!

One extra feature of this app which is pretty amazing is that you can have it save the location of your note. This means that you can search for ideas near someplace. This adds to how easy it is to organize all your info with this app.
This app is especially useful for writers, musicians, artists and photographers. The previously named personages usually have sudden ideas hit them throughout their day and they often need somewhere to record/write them down. This app is the perfect solution as it offers more than just that.

The one real con is that it requires an internet connection to retrieve information because the data is not stored natively. In a way this is a good thing, however. This means that you save space on your phone. Also, if you have an Android, chances are you have a data plan. This means that wherever you have cell reception you can use this app.
All in all, the pros definitely outweigh the cons. This app is fantastically built and the Evernote team is working daily to improve it and to add features.
