Virgin Mobile came out with an interesting device for internet access: The Virgin MiFi 2200. The device offers unlimited internet access for up to 5 users for only $40 per month.

That's cheaper than almost all the other internet access providers. The Internet access is based on the Sprint G3 Network, which reaches 262 million people. That means in almost every city or urban region of the U.S. you will get excellent coverage with this. If you live in a rural area, you are not in luck this time (again).

System Requirements for the Virgin MiFi 2200

If you are using a Windows platform, you'll need: Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7 and a PDF Reader
If you are working on Mac base: Mac: Mac OS X, 10.3 & higher
Also you'll need a Wi-Fi enabled laptop or desktop computer with internet browser

Pricing & Service Details Virgin MiFi 2200

You can use the Virgin MiFi 2200 as an internet connection at home, or when you travel. Or you can just buy the device and have it in your pocket or on your desk as a backup connection. Not that internet connections are very unreliable in the U.S., but on average there is about a week outage per year (this is based on my personal experience).
