It has been two years since Google unveiled Google Chrome, its experiment web browser. At first, it was only available on Windows and its main focus was on speed and nothing else, really. Since then, it has come to include extensions and themes. These allow you to add features to your Chrome browser as well as customize it so it looks just the way you want it to look. It has also become available on Mac OS X and Linux operating systems.
With Google Chrome's birthday release of Version 6 come significant speed increases, a more sleek look - less clutter. See, the thing with Chrome is that its focus is on simplicity, so the "less clutter" update in Version 6 is really outstanding. It's like taking water and saying, "make that more transparent," it's already transparent! That's the same way it is with Chrome 6, except they succeeded in making it even more elegant than it was before.
What started as an experiment by a web-based company continues as a huge success. When Chrome first came out, I immediately downloaded it and loved it. Since then, if I was on a computer that didn't have it installed, guess what I would do. I would go to google.com/chrome and I would download it/install it. Then, I would be happy to work with that computer.
When Chrome first came out, some people were skeptical if it would make it as a major browser. They had no reason to, it's become one of, if not the, top internet browsers in use today. It's famous for its speed and reliability.

Another great feature that Chrome has is its ability to shut tabs down individually. On other browsers if you go to the wrong website and it crashes your browser, well... your browser crashes. With Chrome, if that happens, it doesn't crash your browser, it crashes that tab, leaving the other tabs unaffected.
If you don't have Google Chrome yet, you can download it here. I can only recommend it and tell you that after using it you won't want to use any other web browser.
