Most photo to painting apps make it look all computerized, however, this app makes it look like you photo started as a painting taken out of a museum.
This app was developed with the end result in mind. The developers wanted to make a paint application that "adds crucial dimension of depth and quality equivalent to those found only in an enduring oil painting.
Photo Artista is an app that doesn't take a long time to master. It's intuitive and easy to use. It allows you to make a beautiful painting with only a few easy steps: Start with a photo, choose a paint style, then apply the paint style and and the application will do all the work.
There are many different art styles that you can choose from:
Oil Portrait, Oil Landscape, Oil Realism, Oil Impressionism, Oil Expressionism, Oil Tone Painting and Oil Abstract
As well, there are features that allow you to fine-tune:
Textured Oil, Brush Size, Stroke Variation, Color Shift, Color Tone, Canvas Texture, and Canvas Color

There is one thing that could be improved, and that's the amount of time it takes to render the painting. I know, I know, it's a professional app and it uses a lot of complicated algorithms to make a painting out of a photo and all that, but I'm sure there's a way to take some of the time out of it. If that was done, this app would be absolutely phenomenal.
The paintings that come out of this app are fantastic. I recommend this app to any painting enthusiast or anyone who would like a cool way to change their photos.
