[caption id="attachment_7959" align="" width="360" caption="President Barack Obama and Prime Minister Netanyahu"][/caption]Today, President Barack Obama is having many meetings and talks with several world leaders all surrounding the issue of peace in the Middle East. After speaking with Prime Minister Netanyahu, he held a public address regarding the incident in Hebron yesterday.
Four people were gunned down in the streets, and Obama used this as a example of what we have to face with peace. There are going to be people who want to continue death and destruction, but we must continue to work towards peace despite this.
As Barack Obama says, "There are going to be extremists and rejectionists who, rather than seeking peace, are going to be seeking destruction. And the tragedy that we saw yesterday where people were gunned down on the street by terrorists who are purposely trying to undermine these talks is an example of what we're up against. But I want everybody to be very clear: The United States is going to be unwavering in its support of Israel’s security and we are going to push back against these kinds of terrorist activities."

He wants the message that goes out to Hamas and everybody else who is taking credit for these "heinous crimes" that this sort of thing is not going to stop the United States from ensuring a secure Israel, and also securing a longer-lasting peace in the whole region.
The prime minister agreed with what Obama said, and he also added that he appreciates the President's efforts to advance the peace for him and his neighbors and for his region.
After this, Obama will have a few more meetings, and then he will be able to have dinner. I think, that today, Obama has done more than just a good day's work.
