Years ago, when my father was part of the boys in blue, he would complain bitterly about how the sociologists were adversely affecting the judicial system.

My father’s beef then was with those who came up with vapid excuses on why perpetrators engaged in wanton violent crimes. Some of these same excuses are now being adopted by the media to excuse the reasons why one of my Pakistani brothers recently tried to murder innocents in Times Square--The basic themed was that the “American Dream” had eluded the would-be jihadist.

We were told in weeping prose how his home was foreclosed and that he lost his job, which meant that it tacitly gave him license to kill innocents. Think of the countless millions whose lives, one time or the other, have been a disappointment; perhaps, they should take up arms and kill all those who outwardly have attained the “American Dream” (including those same reporters who are positing such a bogus excuse for the jihadist). It is my opinion that some members of the Fourth Estate are engaging in the malignant cancer that is political correctness.

Many in the media are afraid of the jihadists, and moreover, in the tank for President Obama who has taken a posture to down-play the war on terror. Three times in eighteen months, we have been successfully attacked by some of those who practiced the religion of peace (pun intended), yet in seven long years, no such attacks under President Bush - was it because his policies in dealing with these killers were more muscular? These jihadists kill because they have perverted their religion and bought into the hatred. The recent would-be jihadist recently became a citizen - a privilege many would die for; yet, he squandered it supposedly for his reward in paradise.

No matter if America provided the Midas lifestyle, they would still commit crime and they would still engage in jihad because there is evil out there. My Pakistani brother had a home in Connecticut, a job, a wife and children, and the mammon to buy all that was needed to bomb Times Square. I wonder what the media would have said if it were someone from the ranks of the Tea Party who tried to blow up Times Square. What craven animals members of the Fourth Estate are; I suggest that they have, at the get go, the many sociological excuses to put to pen and paper… because this fight between us and the jihadists will be internecine.
