Paparazzi - 12 Year Old Oklahoma Boy Scores Overnight Hit

Greyson97 is a 12 year old boy from Oklahoma named Greyson Chance. On a recent sixth grade festival at Edmonds school he preformed with Paparazzi, a song writen and composed by Lady Gaga.



The video of the song went viral and was an overnight hit worldwide. As of this writing the video had already over 8 million viewers.

In his about me page on youtube the boy writes: "I am very inspired by Lady Gaga and Augustana. Lady Gaga is a freak but she has so much talent and her style of music is what I would like mine to be when im older. Augustana is one of the most underated bands I think ever to step the planet. They have so much talent it is not funny. They have such a good concept with folk and rock. It is very sad that they are so unknown."

The boy also caught the attention of the The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Ellen wanted to meet with him Chance and flew him to Los Angeles to perform on the show. Chance spoke with Lady Gaga on the phone and said:"She told Chance he is sweet and talented and said he should follow his dreams".
