[/caption]Atlas Shrugged is one of those books that has caused such a huge influence all over the world. It has been read by Americans, Europeans and it has even been read in Asia. There are plenty of reasons this book has caused such a global effect.
Atlas Shrugged carries with it such a strong and deep message that whoever reads it automatically gets this whole different view of life and starts to see how things really are. Not only does this book have a great message, but it is written in the format of a novel so it is very easy to read.
It is so easy to get addicted to the book. There are unbelievable things that occur in the book where you just have to continue reading you can't put the book down or else it will be on your mind throughout the whole day.
In this book there is a lot that goes on. There is love, hate, hardship, hopelessness, happiness, success and failure. This book also gives you a totally different view of capitalism and socialism. It really puts them into perspective and you start to understand why socialism is bad for a society.
Atlas Shrugged shows what happens to a world when the smart, and capable people start going on strike and letting the stupid, and greedy people control the world. The book gets messy and intense, but it is all part of the greatness of the book.

Ayn Rand also depicts this weirdly twisted love affair between various characters, where by the end you are totally shocked of what becomes of the characters.
Atlas Shrugged is also very famous for the line " Who is John Galt?" This line is used throughout the book to express the indifference of not knowing and knowing one will never know or also despair and helplessness.
If you have not read Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand, I suggest you do. If you are looking for a great book with meaning and something that is entertaining, get the book and start your journey.
One warning, the book is very long, but it is worth reading the whole thing, in the end everything comes together.
