Natalie Cole, the Grammy Award-winning singer has written a memoir titled "Love Brought Me Back". The subtitle is A Journey of Loss and Gain. The book is published by Simon & Schuster and is available in November 2010.

On the Simon & Schuster web site the Natalie Cole's book can be pre-ordered.

The book is co-authored by David Ritz. David Ritz is the only four-time winner of the Gleason Music Book Award. He has collaborated with Ray Charles, Marvin Gaye, B.B. King, Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Smokey Robinson, and Don Rickles. He also cowrote, with Gaye, the song "Sexual Healing."

Natalie Cole, the daughter of Nat “King” Cole had contracted a kidney disease and received an organ transplant in 2009.

Natalie Maria Cole was born on February 6, 1950, in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of crooner Nat King Cole and former Duke Ellington Orchestra singer Maria Cole. She is an American singer, songwriter and performer. She achieved success in her early career as an R&B star, but smoothly changed her repertoire toward a more pop and jazz oriented musical style in the early 1990s. She has won nine Grammy Awards. Cole has been singing since she was 5 years old.
