The 2009 infamous state dinner at the White House crashed by Michaele Salahi and her attention seeking husband has lead to several injustice suffered by the White House and media claims, and one more such claim was added to the list by Whoopi Goldberg.
On Wednesday Salahi appeared on "The View" for an on-air television interview, alongside her "Real Housewives of D.C." co-stars, and once again cried out about about her "outrageous abuse" by Goldberg.
What happened next was something unpredictable, and not expected on such a show. Goldberg walked in at one point during the interview from offstage and touched Salahi, whispering softly to get to the topic of White House party crashing. Saying this she walks back off-camera, reports CBC News.
Later, after the show, it was said Salahi's lawyer that Goldberg screamed at her off-air as the show ended. However, ABC has denied such claims, and said that Goldberg was defending herself from any physical violence from Salahi. She also defended herself from accusations that she had hurt Salahi physically in any way.
Goldberg said, "I make no apology for my choice words... And then I was told that she thought I hit her. So I went up to her and I told her that she knew I didn't hit her and you know how I said it: Choice words."
Karl Nilsson, spokesman for "The View", said that the backstage scene was created after Salahi supposedly accused Goldberg of hitting her during the on-air interview.
Salahi had been to "The View" on Wednesday to promote her appearance on the "Real Housewives of D.C." that is going to premiere on Thursday.
Salahi and her husband are under investigation in connection to their attendance of the White House state dinner last November.
