"Red Dead Redemption" is seeing a lot of green.
Publisher Take-Two has announced that Rockstar's latest game, Red Dead Redemption, has sold more than five million copies since its release on May 18. The game, which is available for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 game systems, is an immersive "sandbox" experience set in the Old West in the early 1900s where the player can choose to play as a hero or villain (or something in between) based on the actions they take.
Although it features familiar gameplay to fans of Rockstar's record-breaking "Grand Theft Auto" franchise, "Red Dead Redemption" has its own targeting system, in-game economy and a vast landscape that provides a very different background than it's sister franchise. Players travel through a variety of methods, but mostly by horse, which is a smooth and intuitive process. The multitude of side missions and games (from blackjack to horseshoes) extend the game's length to the point that several dozen hours will be required to experience everything fully.
"Red Dead Redemption" also features a deep online presence, with competitive and co-op games available for the millions of players who have purchased the game. While anticipation was high (and reviews strong) for the game, Take-Two's announcement that it eclipsed the five million mark proves that it belongs in the discussion of Take-Two mega-sellers.
But that doesn't mean it's automatically going to be the biggest game in Rockstar's history. "Grand Theft Auto IV," the series' first game for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, has sold more than 17 million copies worldwide since its release in 2008.

ردحذفEach post I have read is well written and to the point. I would also like to say, not only are the posts well written, but the lay-out of your web-site is excellent. I was able to navigate from article to article and locate what I was looking for with ease. Keep up the excellent work you are doing, and I will return many times in the near future.
