The New Xbox 360 Facts and Features

The new Xbox 360 "Slim" is being shipped to retailers today. It will be available for purchase later this week. This is surprising as we only knew that a new Xbox was on the way through leaks from Europe, however, no one expected that it would be out so soon.

The new Xbox 360 is being called the "Slim" by most people is being called thus for good reason. It features a very contemporary design with a high-gloss black plastic casing. Its price is the same as its predecessor at $299. This isn't too bad for a brand new gaming machine.

It is said to be "whisper quiet" and it packs a might 250GB hard drive. It also has a built-in WiFi connection that supports the more recent and faster 802.11n protocol.

The new Xbox 360 is ready for Kinect, the new Wii style device from Microsoft. Basically, it's a thing with cameras and an infrared sensor that sees you in 3D and allows you to play interactive games through body movement etc.

The new Xbox 360 brings a new edge to gaming with all its features. It allows you to connect seamlessly to Xbox Live and to chat with all your friends, to video chat through Kinect and of course to allow you to play games with graphics and sound like you have never seen before.

All in all, the release of the new Xbox is very exciting. Many people look forward to purchasing this new gaming beast and playing with it all day long. I think that it's going to change the way we play.
