Pre Order iPhone 4 with Apple Store App despite Apple Store Down

With the newly released free Apple Store App you can shop the Apple store. You can also use this app to pre order the new iPhone 4.

The iPhone 4 has been released pre order today. Since early in the morning the AT&T website and the Apple store website had their order links. But the traffic was more than what they had planned for and the result was that a lot of traffic ended in nowhere land.

If you are eager to pre order your iPhone, it is probably best to use the new Apple Store App, as this app connects to different servers. You can get your pre order in by basically jumping to the front of the line.

UPDATE: This no longer works. You'll have find a different way to pre-order such as actually going to your nearest Apple store...
