Campbell Soup recalls three varieties of "Spaghettios" with meatballs that may be under-processed. This recall has been classified as high health risk by the USDA.

The Campbell Soup Company is based in Camden, New Jersey, and is recalling approximately 15,000,000 pounds of "SpaghettiOs with Meatballs" that were canned in a plant in Texas. The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today that these products might have been under-processed, leaving the meat partially raw.

These Campbell Products are being recalled:

* 14.75-ounce cans of "SpaghettiOs" with Meatballs, bearing the identifying product code "U5" on the bottom of the can.
* 14.75-ounce cans of "SpaghettiOs" A to Z with Meatballs, bearing the identifying product code "4N" on the bottom of the can.
* 14.75-ounce cans of "SpaghettiOs" Fun Shapes with Meatballs (Cars), bearing the identifying product code "KS" on the bottom of the can.
Consumers can recognize the products by looking at the bottom of the cans and find the printed establishment number "EST 4K," as well as a "Use By" date between June 2010 and December 2011. The SpaghettiOs that are subject to the recall have been produced between December 2008 and June 2010 and distributed to retail stores nationwide. There is currently no distribution list available on the  FSIS' website.

A routine warehouse inspection revealed the situation. The FSIS has not receieved any reports of illnesses related to the consumption of SpaghettiOs. Consumers can get more information from the Campbell's Hotline at (866) 495-3774.
