Today you could get "free" cookies if you would "like" the Nabisco fan page. Well, free is kind of relative here, as you have to spend  5 bucks in order to get the "free" pack of cookies. Here is what the promotion said:

You can get a free package Nabisco cookies when you go to facebook.com/nabiscocookies and simply "like" their facebook page. After liking the page, you go to their Cookies and Milk tab and print the coupon.

Now, this is actually just a marketing gimmick as is very often the case. You won't get free cookies, unless you buy one package of of Nabisco cookies, one gallon of milk (the cheapest will do), and another package of milk any size. After all that your second package of Nabisco cookies is free.

If all this sounds interesting, you will have to make sure to print the coupon by today, June 7, 2010 at 11:59 p.m. EST and redeem it by June 25. Nabisco cookies include Oreo cookies, Nutter Butter cookies, Chips Ahoy cookies, Nilla Wafers, and many others. The coupon is valid two times per person.

Another limitation: While you are reading this, the whole deal is probably already a thing of the past, as the coupon maxes out after 465,000 printings. And another fine print: Not all retailers accept digital coupons.

So, what do we learn from this? Well, there is no free lunch unless you buy your Oreos with milk daily anyhow, then you've got your free lunch today.
