In the month of May we found out the shocking news that the lead singer of U2, Bono was admitted into a hospital in Germany for emergency back surgery. Back then it wasn’t clear when the band was going to continue with their world tour.

Bono is now out of the hospital and has been recovering for a few weeks in his luxury villa in French Riviera. He hasn’t been recovering alone. He has seen some of his friends and has been having a nice relaxing time with them. Earlier this week he drove himself to meet some of his friends to lunch. He also has been spending some time with Lance Armstrong, an old friend, who is currently in France for a bike race.

Bono got released from the Munich hospital on May 25 and now he has to spend eight weeks doing physical rehab. Since he has to do this rehab the North American leg of U2’s world tour will be postponed until 2011.

Bono being in France and recovering there is a good idea, I think. Since he will be in an environment where he can have a lot of space and where he can have excellent foods to eat and excellent landscapes to see.

Being visited by friends will also help him recover faster since he will feel like he isn’t just alone and having to recover on his own. He will see that his friends are there to support him and to help him through his post-surgery state.

The good news is that Bono is recovering and that he is going to get completely better. He will go back to performing and he will continue on with his tour.
