Al Gore and Wife Tipper, To Split After 40 Years of Marriage

Al Gore and his wife Tipper Gore have decided to split up after 40 years of being married. The former Vice President and his wife have had a romance together since high school. Now after 40 years they have realized that they have just grown apart and want to split. It’s very shocking.

Al and Tipper say that the decision to be apart was a mutual one. Luckily the split between these two wasn’t due to any scandal or anything of that sort. Affairs and scandals are so common today and break up marriages all the time. But this marriage is being broken apart due to two people being with each other for 40 years but growing apart through those years.

They have both realized that they were just making their own separate lives as they were together. They think a split is the best thing for them at this point. The Gore’s do have four grown children. And I think now that they don’t have to worry about the children anymore they have had time to focus on their marriage and have just realized that it isn’t what they want anymore.

If these two people think it is best for them to split then they should do so. But it is just a little interesting how you can be married to someone for 40 years and after 40 years you realize you don’t want to be married anymore. 40 years of marriage is quite an accomplishment, especially in today’s day and age. I think that any problem can be fixed, big or small. And in this case, I think that Al and Tripper could find the problem that is making them want to split and they could resolve the problem without having to get a divorce of anything. There are always solutions to handling relationships and divorce is sometimes just an easy way out.

Maybe Al and Tipper have tried to handle all their problems or everything that wasn’t good but they had to resort to divorce. If that’s the case, well than I wish them the best of luck.
