[/caption]Animation Creator HD is a wonderful app. It really gives you an idea of the full functionality of the iPad. With it you can create animations that you can instantly share on YouTube and Twitter.
The app has a full screen editing capability so you no longer have to worry about annoying tools getting in your way when you want to draw something. It has very many features including, layers, pain brush, eraser, line, rectangle, circle, color selection palettes, color selection sliders. Also, you can add, delete and copy frames easily with the easy-to-use interface the app also has onion skin capabilities so you can see an overlay of your previous frame.
With this app you have a smooth drawing and animation experience, however there are a few improvements that could be made to the app. One thing that I think is very important that they add is the ability to import photos. This would please a lot of people. Also, I think that there need to be more sharing methods such as Facebook, Digg, Reddit etc.
Also, I think that there should be some tools for advanced animators so that they don't have to work around all the easy to use-ness of the app. My idea for that would be some sort of a beginner mode and advanced mode.
The app is currently priced at $0.99 so that kind of makes up for its flaws. That doesn't mean, however, that they should not look at really giving the app a make-over.
The app only works with the iPad, though there is a version for the iPhone and iPod touch. It requires iPhone OS 3.2 or later. I don't actually think that there is an earlier version of the OS for the iPad...

There are some flaws but there are also a lot of features and the price does kind of make up for its flaws. Then again, if they added the features listed above they could raise the price. Since the release of the iPad a lot of apps have raised their price to anywhere from $1.99 to $9.99.
