FingerPiano allows you to play beautiful piano music using just your fingers and your iPad. This version of the iPad has been built to excellently use the screen real estate of the iPad. The large, high definition screen really brings to life the virtual piano.
With this application you can choose to freeform and play on your own, or you can play along with over 200 famous songs. These songs include classical tunes such as Fur Elise, Eine Kleine Nachtmusik. Also, standard American and British tunes including Happy Birthday to You, Jingle Bells and even some children's songs.
You can also play Guitar Hero style by following the falling blue rectangles. These guide you to the right keys.
This application is a lot of fun and is a great way to impress your friends with your piano skill!
Once you have set fingers on this app you will not want to let go. It is very easy and fun to use. It is also built for everyone, you can change the thickness of the key width from thick to normal to thin. This makes it accessible to people of all ages.

I had a lot of fun using this application and I think that anyone from young to old will enjoy the classic instrument on the iPad.
There are a few things that I would improve on the app. These include,
1. Sheet music option. Have a function where people can download/buy sheet music that would be displayed above the keys. This would allow advanced users to learn some new songs as well as practice familiar ones.
2. Lettered key. Have an option where beginner users can choose to display the note on the key. This would allow beginner pianists to practice their note identification abilities.
At $2.99 this application is priced very well and won't make too big of a hole in your wallet.
[rating: 4/5]
If the above named functions were added, I believe that this app would be worthy of a solid 10.
