[/caption]The gold price is above $1,385 per ounce today. As of 1:07 pm the gold price was $1,387.40 per ounce. That is up $25 for the day. Market participants are flocking to gold during the last trading day of the month of November.
The dollar looks stronger, but that is a false impression. The reality is, that the Euro lost ground and made the dollar look relatively stronger. There were no fundamental changes in regards to the dollar, but there are some circumstances that weaken the Euro. Especially the debt concerns in Greece worried the market and supported the gold price.
The Euro recently lost about 0.9% against the U.S. dollar and was noted as $1.2987.
